Quarantine week 1

The biggest challenge I am facing is the inability to see my mentor face to face. My final product attempted to address misconceptions she feels affects patient care and guidance. However, since I cannot meet her in person and truly understand these misconceptions it will be difficult for me to complete this product as I had previously planned. Instead I am going to focus more on addressing issues I think a more overarching and not particular to the exact technical issues my mentor faces. Additionally, I have decided to focus more on the video after this week.

By seeing how organizations published information and the overall public reaction to educational resources published by healthcare organizations, I learned a lot about communication and patient education in healthcare. I saw what information stuck with the public and was shared and followed and I also saw how information was presented. I reevaluated my ideas and calendar for the final product and decided to focus more on the video and include more content to make it more impactful and effective.

I still need to work on my video and finish researching and collecting content for both my informational packets and my video. Creating a video has been a much harder process than I expected and I have to plan and allocate more time for creating the video in my calendar.
