Mission Statement
Through the Independent Study Mentorship Program I aspire to gain a foundational understanding of medicine, and explore the versatility of the healthcare field. I hope to delve into the genetic aspect of medicine and explore the potential of new technology and developments in genome mapping and genome therapy. While I create a project that displays the experiences and knowledge I have gained during this class, I hope to learn to enjoy the process and become a more confident, driven, and compassionate individual.

I am a senior at Independence High School in Frisco Texas. Through the Independence Study Mentorship Program, I hope to gain a foundation in healthcare.
