Original Work Idea!

This week I decided on what my original work would be for this semester. I know I want to spread awareness on epigenetics in psychological diseases, but I need to look into the methods I can use. I would like to contact the APs and the counselors to get permission to begin my original work with the school. I want to talk to the student council as well to see if I can see their previous presentations and find the gap in education. Right now I know that students don’t know the environmental and biological interactions that lead to the cause of disorders, but I’m not sure if teaching students this can actually lead to change. It might confuse them more, or it might just make them more cautious of all of their actions. I want to take a look at the presentations and research the environmental factors that can impact disorders that affect teenagers. Right now, I’m thinking of creating a proposal for my original work and conducting one presentation. For my final product, I would like to actually create the program/support group. I had an interview scheduled this week but it got canceled so I am contacting more professionals this week to schedule another interview. Next week I want to pick a certain disease to focus on and decide what I want to focus on(aspects of the disorder)for my presentation.
